Pastor Kim Shibley and his wife, Kayce
Kim Shibley has been a minister of the Gospel for over 25 years since his graduation from Stevens School of the Bible in Lenox MA. in 1982. Almost immediately upon receiving his degree in Christian Leadership, Kim was bound for southern France where with an international missionary team he helped establish a Bible believing Christian assembly,as well as a Bible College in Nimes.
After four years in France Kim returned to the U.S. and worked as an assistant pastor for seven years at the Glorious Gospel Church in Springfield MA.
In 1993 Kim and his family moved to the Baltimore area and became part of the local ministry of Greater Grace Church. At the Baltimore church, home to a world wide network of affiliated churches, Kim has served in several areas,and remains a teacher at the Maryland Bible College and Seminary.
His interest in the Washington DC area started in 2001 when his oldest daughter became a student at American University. This interest found a home in Silver Spring in September of 2005 when Pastor Matti Sirvio and a team from Maryland Bible College and Seminary began to do street evangelism and Saturday evening Bible studies there at the Woodside Church. In the spring of 2006 Kim was asked to lead the outreach and immediately began making plans to have Sunday morning church services in Silver Spring which began in September 2006.
Kim and his wife Kayce have been married since 1983 and have five children.
Pastor Ron Swingle and his wife, Marjorie
Pastor Ron Swingle has been a disciple and servant of Jesus Christ since 1975. In 1985 he took an early retirement from a successful career as a professional industrial design-engineer to become a full time Bible college student. He met Marjorie at Bible college and they were married in 1982.
Ron graduated from cum laude from Bible college in 1988 and received a second degree in 1990. Ordained in 1991 Ron is a 25 year veteran of Greater Grace World Outreach minitries. From 1987 to 1998 Pastor Swingle led an outreach to the red-light district in Baltimore, MD. In the midst of that he pastored the Finished Work Church of Towson, MD. Pastor Ron is now the assistant pastor of GGCF in Silver Spring and the church is delighted to have him and his dear wife Marjorie who is the Sunday school director there.
